Stock Transfer Creation - File - Load Intransit Transfer

This option applies to transfer batches that have been created manually and then posted to a transit warehouse. Use this option to recall an in-transit transfer batch so you can amend it, delete it or re-hold it as required.

When the goods are received at the destination warehouse, staff use this option to load the transfer batch and then transfer the items from the transit warehouse to the destination warehouse.

Technical Tip 2.8 Feature Micronet also creates in-transit transfer batches automatically when goods are received into a warehouse that is different from the warehouse that created the purchase order and where the Automatic Transfers on Receipt field on the Purchasing Configuration screen is set to From Transit Warehouse (refer to "Edit - Program - Purchasing").

1. Select INVENTORY | ADJUSTMENTS | TRANSFER TO WAREHOUSE.

Micronet displays the Stock Transfer Creation screen.

2. Select FILE | LOAD INTRANSIT TRANSFER.

Micronet displays a selection screen with a list of in-transit stock transfer batches.

3. If required, you can filter the list of in-transit stock transfers by Transfer To warehouse, Transfer From warehouse or Transfer No (transfer docket number).fields:

Micronet displays the stock transfer batches matching your criteria at the bottom of the screen.

4. Double-click on the in-transit transfer batch you want to load, or select a transfer batch and press the Enter key.

Micronet displays the Stock Transfer Creation screen with the details of the in-transit transfer batch.

5. Continue processing the stock transfer batch by completing the steps required in the "Stock Transfer Overview".
